SECTOR I
Atna river (bank fishing)
The Atna River is protected from hydropower development and therefore not regulated. It has a steady flow without major waterfalls, and depth varies. The river is fed by several tributaries. Key fish species are trout, char, and grayling. The river system is easily accessible and popular for sport fishing.
Target Fish Species: Brook trout, Brown Trout, Rainbow trout, Grayling





SECTOR II
Storsjoen lake (boat fishing)
Storsjøen is a natural lake. The water levels are partly affected by regulation in the Rena watercourse. It is about 35 km long, 1.7 km wide, and has a maximum depth of 309 meters, making it one of Norway’s deepest lakes. Key fish species are trout, whitefish, grayling, char, pike, perch, and burbot. Distribution: whitefish (40–50%), trout (25–30%), grayling and char (10–15%), others minor. The lake is famous for its large trout population, with catches exceeding 10 kg.
Target Fish Species: Arctic Char, Grayling, Brown Trout, Rainbow trout
SECTOR III
Glomma river (bank fishing)
Glomma is Norway’s longest river and is partly regulated through hydropower. In Stor-Elvdal it has long free-flowing stretches. Water depth varies greatly; calm sections can be 5–15 meters, while rapids and shallow areas dominate elsewhere. Main fish species are trout, grayling, pike, whitefish, and perch. Distribution: grayling (40–50%), trout (30–35%), pike and perch (15–20%), whitefish (5–10%). The river is renowned as one of Norway’s best fly-fishing rivers, with catch limits to preserve large fish. Anglers from across Europe visit Glomma annually for its rich fishing opportunities.

SECTOR IV
Galtensjoe lake (boat fishing)
Galtsjøen is a natural lake without regulation, part of the Femund/Trysil watercourse. Located at 643 m a.s.l., it covers about 3.2 km² and has a maximum depth of 19 meters. Key fish species are trout, grayling, whitefish, and char, with some perch. Distribution: whitefish (40–50%), grayling (20–25%), trout (20–25%), char and perch (5–10%).
Target Fish Species: Brown Trout, Grayling, Arctic Char
SECTOR V
Femundselva river (bank fishing)
The river is unregulated, flowing naturally from Lake Galtsjøen southward toward Trysil. Water levels vary with snowmelt; depths are usually 1–5 meters, with deeper pools. Key fish species are trout, grayling, and whitefish, with some char and perch. Distribution: grayling (40–50%), trout (30–35%), whitefish (10–15%), others minor. The Femundselva are well-known fly-fishing areas and is referred to as a classic fly-fishing river, known for large grayling and trout over 1–2 kg.

ACCOMMODATION
Oiseth Hotel
Oiseth Hotell is located in the beautiful Rendalen Municipality, located halfway between Oslo and Trondheim.
The hotel capacity at Oiseth Hotel is not large. And room allocation will be prioritized in triple and double rooms for the athletes. The athletes will have 1st priority on the hotel rooms.
