From the championships 2025 onwards, the registration for all FIPS-Mouche championships will done only via FIPS-Mouche website. The registration itself may on by done within an authorized area of the main website, where only so called SPOCs (single point of contact) are having an access to. The SPOC needs to go the the main FIPS-Mouche website, login (reset password on the first login), navigate to authorized section (Account), to choose an option “Championship registration” of the admin side menu, select championship from the list of available options and carry out the registration. IMPORTANT HINTS:
Single room request will be surcharged by 450 Euro up the participation package. Beware number of single rooms is limited.
Organizers provide also PREMIUM luxorious hotel ( Hilton Garden Inn), however this hotel is not covered within participation package – surcharge of 400 Euro to be paid on top of the participation package.
When registration of participants the Member (your federation) confirms that you as Member are responsible for providing adequate health, travel, and any other insurance for your team (ref. CR 2025, article 8.2).
In preparation for the upcoming USAngling-sanctioned event conducted under the authority of CIPS / FIPS-Mouche and in coordination with applicable United States Forest Service land-use requirements, this letter serves as a formal cover letter to the enclosed legal and risk management documents.
Execution of these documents is mandatory and required to ensure compliance with international federation rules, host country regulations, land-management authority requirements, and USAngling’s insurance and risk-management obligations.
Registration for the event is to be done by federation SPOC via main FIPS-Mouche website only. After the online registration is submitted, the organizers will send you an invoice with all all payment details.
Due to fishing licensing and permitting requirements established by state wildlife organizations, the organizer is unable to purchase licenses for anglers participating in the championship. Each angler will be required to set up an account with the various state agencies in order to purchase licenses. A detailed set of instructions will be provided. Best practice for licenses is to purchase online or through the state agency apps, as there are few shops that sell licenses in person.
As an accommodation for the angler a credit of 50 euros, the equivalent cost of the daily licenses for the championship, will be applied to the registration cost. Anglers should consider all options of license purchases while practicing to determine the best cost total solution. Guidance will be provided on this matter as we get closer to the championship.

Practice & Competition Fishing
During competition and practice sessions all participants and their agents shall follow the Catch & Release principle.
The fishing in competition sectors by competitors or their agents is prohibited during a period of 30 (thirty) days prior to the official start of the event (from August 13, 2026).
Practice waters for all venues will be published on the website.
Practice on Hebgen lake – all practice be coordinated through the organization and only allowed via this coordination, this is due to the limited number of rental boats available on the lake and to ensure that all teams have an equal opportunity to practice, otherwise it is possible that some teams might not have a chance due to the specific logistical challenges at the lake. Practice would not be in the competition water of course.
